Equipment Used by Cinemas in Film Making
IMAX 3D cinemas are famous worldwide for their uniqueness and high-quality entertainment. Surprisingly, 3-D films have been in existence since the 1950s, but had been shut out because of huge production costs due to expensive hardware and production processes. 3-D cinemas use digital 3D stereoscopic cinema technology, a special system that records the images as seen from two perspectives which requires special projectors and special glasses to provide the illusion of depth when viewing the film.
